COVID-19: EU employee tests positive in Guinea's first case

An employee of the European Union delegation in Guinea is the first confirmed case of COVID-19 in the country, according to Guinea’s Ministry of Health
The employee felt sick after returning to the country from Europe and self-isolated. According to authorities, the individual is a Belgian national and is currently receiving treatment at Nongo treatment facilities.
So far, the virus has hit 18 countries in Africa, with Guinea, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mauritania and Eswatini (formerly knows as Swaziland) being added to the list of Corona-hit countries, as they reported their first case on Friday.
The total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases across the globe surpassed on Friday the 140,000.
