NUR-SULTAN – Kazakhstan – In the framework of the signed agreements between Russia’s Transneft and Kazakhstan’s KazTransOil, speaking on behalf of 38 Kazakhstan oil companies in the issue of cost recovery for shipping about 699,000 tonnes of substandard oil in the port of Ust-Luga, five Kazakhstan oil companies have been by Transneft, the press- service of KazTransOil said on 11 February.
According to press-service, previously, payments were made to 32 companies.
In April-May 2019, high concentrations of organochlorine compounds were detected in Transneft’s main oil pipelines, which led to the shipment of substandard oil from Kazakhstan consignors to tankers in the port of Ust-Luga.
